All in all the hotel is stunningly beautiful, it has best staff and huge rooms. The location is fantastic, in nearby villages. Furthermore, it's so close to gardens to walk around and plenty of local walks, the valley and gorgeous gardens, and nature. I recommend as I enjoyed this property.

Comfortable bedroom. Particularly good, magnificent location to a swimmable lake. Based adjacent to the next supermarket as well as astonishing forests😀

The double room felt slightly cramped, which could be less ideal for travelers with extra gear, like us. Waking up to noise from pipes and early risers was a bit annoying. Light sleepers may want to request a quieter room. A microwave would have been handy in the kitchen area-a minor detail, but it could enhance the experience significantly.

The check-in was a breeze, and I loved the cozy atmosphere of my single room. The peaceful surroundings and the lovely lounge were perfect for unwinding. The only downside was that the cafe was closed but it didn't spoil my experience. 😊

Lovely stay in a fine mansion
This place was amazing! The mansion is just beautiful, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Had some fantastic meals too. The location is spot on. The room needed some TLC though-flaky paint and we had some bugs come in when we got there because the windows were open. Definitely recommended!

Fine location and friendly atmosphere
The location is amazing, especially the woodland walk that features views of the valley and a charming steam train. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection including fresh fruit and a hot cooked option, all served by cute staff. If I had to mention a downside, it would be wanting more seating in the common areas for larger groups.
